All of our service engineers are trained by industry manufacturers and have attended specialist maintenance and installation courses. As a business we don’t rely on the accreditation of our brand, we insist on individual certification of our front line engineers too, therefore ensuring the person we assign to service your life safety equipment is trained to do so, giving you the peace of mind that we meet or exceed the highest possible business performance standards.

Our service contracts explain:

  • The standards the maintenance will be carried out to
  • The frequency of planned service visits
  • The minimum response time to call outs
  • What’s included in your agreement (call outs, parts etc)

Your system will be subjected to a full functionality inspection, which will include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Check the installation, location and siting of equipment against the specification
  • Check the satisfactory operation of detection devices
  • Check the mains and standby power supplies, including correct charging rates
  • Check the control unit for correct operation
  • Check remote signalling equipment where applicable
  • Check the system in accordance with the customer handbook

Following a maintenance visit, you will receive a full Preventative Maintenance Report detailing the inspection findings any repairs or works recommended to your system. You will also be advised whether the works specified are just recommendations or whether they form an issue that affects the operation and functionality of your security system.

Our engineers carry extensive stock within their vans should they identify parts that should be changed to maintain the operational performance of your system and should you wish for them to do so, will change parts during the visit, saving you money and the inconvenience of a revisit.
